The Corbett Report

http://www.corbettreport.com
If we want know the TRUTH, if we want no be manipulated by official medial sources we have to seek another sources of information. Fortunately Internet is the "phenomenon" where we can find more and more true information like in the TV or newspapers which everyday feed us with lie information, which sows the seeds of hate and disturbances between people on all the world....

Emotional independence

“At the beginning of our life and again when we get old, we need the help and affection of others.
Unfortunately, between these two periods of our life,
when we are strong and able to look after ourselves,
we don’t appreciate the value of affection and compassion.
As our own life begins and ends with the need for affection,
wouldn't’t it be better if we gave compassion and love to others while we are strong and capable?”

The above words were said by the present Dalai Lama.
Really, it is very curious to see that we are proud of our emotional independence.
Evidently, it is not quite like that: we continue needing others our entire life,
but it is a “shame” to show that, so we prefer to cry in hiding.
And when someone asks us for help,
that person is considered weak and incapable of controlling his feelings.

There is an unwritten rule saying that “the world is for the strong”,
that “only the fittest survive.”
If it were like that, human beings would never have existed,
because they are part of a species that needs to be protected for a long period of time.
Specialists say that we are only capable of surviving on our own after nine years of age,
whereas a giraffe takes only six to eight months, and a bee is already independent in less than five minutes.

We are in this world to continue – and will always continue – depending on others.
I depend on our dearest, life partners, friends, employers, colleges and so.....
We depend even on our enemies,
who help us to be always trained in the use of the sword.

Clearly, there are moments when this fire blows in another direction,
but we always ask ourselves: where are the others?
Have we  isolated ourselves too much?
Like any healthy person,  we all also need solitude and moments of reflection.

But we cannot get addicted to that.

Emotional independence leads to absolutely nowhere,
except to a would-be fortress, whose only and useless objective is to impress others.

Emotional dependence, in its turn, is like a bonfire that we light.

In the beginning, relationships are difficult.
In the same way that fire is necessary to put up with the disagreeable smoke ,
which makes breathing hard, and causes tears to pour down one’s face.
However, once the fire is alight, the smoke disappears and the flames light up everything around us,
spreading warmth, calm, and possibly making an ember pop out to burn us,
but that is what makes a relationship interesting, isn't’t that true?

I began this column quoting a Nobel Peace Prize winner about the importance of human relationships.
I am ending with Professor Albert Schweitzer, physician and missionary, who received the same Nobel prize in 1952.

"All of us know a disease in Central Africa called sleeping sickness.
What we need to know is that there is a similar disease that attacks the soul,
and which is very dangerous, because it catches us without being noticed.
When you notice the slightest sign of indifference and lack of enthusiasm for your similar, be on the alert!”

"The only way to take precautions against this disease is to understand that the soul suffers,
and suffers a lot, when we make it live superficially. The soul likes things that are beautiful and profound”.

Citová závislosť

"Na začiatku a na konci našich životov potrebujeme pomoc a lásku iných.
Bohužiaľ  medzi týmito dvoma obdobiami našich životů,
keď sme silní a schopní sa sami o seba postarať,
nedoceňujeme veľmi hodnotu lásky a spolucítenia.
nebolo by lepšie keby sme rozdávali lásku a spolucítili s inými, kým sme ešte silní a výkonní?"

ktorí nám pomáhajú  aby sme vždy vždy rástli a boli vycvičenými pre boj so životom.

Avšak nakoniec keď oheň horí, dym zmizne a plamene ožiaria všetko vôkol nás,
rozdáva teplo, pokoj a eventuálne vytvorí žhavý uhlík, ktorí zapáli, oheň v nás.

Monkey Economics

Rating:
Category:Other

Once upon a time a man appeared in a village and announced to
the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each.

The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went
out to the forest and started catching them.
The man bought thousands at $10 and, as supply started to
diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He next announced
that he would now buy monkeys at $20 each. This renewed the
efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again.
Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going
back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each and the
supply of monkeys became so scarce it was an effort to even find
a monkey, let alone catch it!

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50 each!
However, since he h ad to go to the city on some business, his
assistant would buy on his behalf. In the absence of the man,
the assistant told the villagers: "Look at all these monkeys in the
big cage that the man has already collected. I will sell them to
you at $35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell
them to him for $50 each."
The villagers rounded up all their savings and bought all the
monkeys for 700 billion dollars.
They never saw the man or his assistant again, only lots and
lots of monkeys!

Now you have a better understanding of how the WALL STREET
BAILOUT PLAN WILL WORK !!!!
It doesn't get much clearer than this.......

The energy of March

The energy of March  is very much like a flower.  There is a sense of breadth.
A flower grows up and then it grows out, its petals unfold.  There is a sense in March  of petals unfolding, of something in bloom.  There is a sense of expansion and spreading but it is not the kind of expansion that people apply often to spiritual terms.
It is not like expansion upward to the heavens or ethereal expansion, it is a very grounded expansion.
That is the reason they are using the metaphor of the flower.  It is a sense that you are staying on the ground.  It is an expansion in the third dimension where more things become possible in every day life.
If that is the energy, then the experiences you can expect in March  are likely the kinds of challenges that you can rise to -- challenges that are doable.
March  is a great time to get things done.  It is useful to say yes this month as often as possible to as many things as possible.
Do not overload yourselves, maintain a sense of discernment, and say no when it is the right time to say no – but recognize there is a general sense of yes this month.
You can move, you can do, and you can accomplish more this month.  March is a great time to get things done......

Two Hearts

A man has a heart attack and is brought to the hospital ER. The doctor tells him that he will not live unless he has a heart transplant right away. Another doctor runs into the room and says, "You're in luck, two hearts just became available, so you will get to choose which one you want. One belongs to an attorney and the other to a social worker".

The man quickly responds, "The attorney's."

The doctor says, "Wait! Don't you want to know a little about them before you make your decision?"

The man says, "I already know enough. We all know that social workers are bleeding hearts and the attorney's probably never used his. So I'll take the attorney's!"

First day of spring

"The first day of spring is one thing,

and the first spring day is another.
The difference between
them is sometimes as great as a month."
